Internships at Glad Bharat Foundation are structured yet flexible. You’ll be mentored while taking ownership of real field tasks — whether it’s program design, classroom facilitation, community outreach, or research. We value initiative, curiosity, and compassion.
Who Can Apply
- University students, graduates, and gap-year seekers with a passion for social change.
Duration
- 4 to 12 weeks (online opportunities). For interns hired through online platforms
- 4 to 8 weeks for institutional internship (offline opportunities).

What is "Social Fauj" and Who are "Social Fauji" ?
Social Fauj is the volunteer army of Glad Bharat Foundation — a disciplined force of changemakers inspired by the spirit of our army. Social Fauji fights the battles of society – illiteracy, inequality, hunger and lack of dignity.
A Social Fauji is every young volunteer who enlists to serve Bharat with courage, compassion, and action. Wearing the Social Fauji badge is not just about a uniform — it’s about a mission to educate children, spread menstrual health awareness, support communities, and build a stronger, more equal Bharat.

Is the internship paid?
Internship at Glad Bharat Foundation is unpaid
Is accommodation provided during the internship?
A basic accommodation support in our office may be available for selected on-ground interns. In general we do not provide accommodation in internship.
What are the working hours for interns?
Internship hours are flexible and depend on the project assigned. Typically, interns contribute 4 hours a day, with regular check-ins and weekly reflections.
How do I apply for an internship role?

Will I receive a certificate for volunteering?
Yes! We provide a digital certificate of appreciation to volunteers who actively contribute and complete their engagement period with us.
What are the working hours for volunteers?
It’s completely flexible based on your availability/free time. This is different for all based on mutual discussion.
In general weekly volunteering for 4 hours are opted by many.
Do I need any prior experience to volunteer?
Not at all. You just need the willingness to contribute. We guide and support all volunteers based on their strengths, so you can make an impact—whether you’re experienced or just starting out.
