LET US MAKE OUR SOCIETY HEALTHY

By initiative, GLAD HEALTH PROGRAM, Glad Bharat Foundation purpose is to improve the health of the underprivileged section of the society. People who are less privileged or underprivileged, for their healthcare could not approach hospitals for check-ups out of risking a day’s wage.

Glad Bharat Foundation approached those people as a source to tackle their problem by access to the needy ones through various camps like dental health checkup programs, General Health check-up camps, diabetes checkup camps, ENT checkup camps and others to encourage the less privileged people who are less concerned about their health.
To promote health care, we work on;

2. Menstrual Health

REGULAR HEALTH CHECKUP CAMPS

Medical Health Check-up camps are regularly organised for the parents and children studying at Glad Bharat Paathshaala and also for the people living around it. Free Medical Checkup Camps are for the needy ones, who are less concious abouth their health. The main objective of a medical camp is to provide initial care, which reflects the unique strength and goal of medical ethics. So, medical camps provide free medical advice, and medicine to the needy people and refer them for specialized treatment or surgery whenever it is required. These camps make sure that people are getting healthcare, before a small health problem turns serious. A Free Medical Camp can be considered as a life-saving program that aims to provide free medical and surgical services to underserved communities living in rural or urban areas.

MENSTRUAL HEALTH

To make people aware of their menstrual health, we organize, “CHARCHA”, an initiative to talk on menstrual health. During CHARCHA, we note the problem statement, and accordingly we act on the solution.
Periods are considered as “Taboo”. Our effort are in a direction where people can feel free to talk on this natural process. . Raising voice on the most neglected problem related to women’s health. Through Glad Bharat Foundation initiative “Charcha”, women are breaking their silence and participating in the talk on menstrual hygiene.
After CHARCHA we intall PAD-ATM to make pads easily accessible at cost effective price, thus making it a sustainable one. Kitchen Garden is also a solution of this issue.

Health Checkup Camp
